PPC Advertising - An Alternative To Google Adwords

On an average day, nearly 60 million people use a search engine to find what they want on the Internet. Research has shown that PPC Advertising out performs all other On-Line Marketing Tactics in click through and conversion rates. Google PPC Advertising is one of the major players in the quickest way to get Highly Targeted Traffic to your Website, according to the Keywords that you have chosen and the budget you are working with.

Unfortunately with Google, some highly optimized keywords have a price tag that perhaps makes it not the most cost effective marketing campaign. You can pay as much as $1 or even $2 a keyword, which can limit the amount of clicks according to the budget your working with.This could drastically affect your advertising campaign and the success of your business, or on the other hand you can look around for alternative PPC Advertising Suppliers

My two favorites are (Yahoo! PPC Search Engine Marketing) and (Microsoft Ad-Centre). Both have similar formats to Google but are a little friendlier for someone on a limited Advertising budget. The lowest bid amount with Yahoo! is 10 cents per click and Microsoft Ad-Centre start even lower at only 5 cents. Where as Google Adwords and Yahoo! PPC is free to join you pay a one-time of $5 fee to create your with Microsoft adCentre.

The same rules apply however, with both services, for opening an account Microsoft adCentre. When setting up your account With Microsoft adCentre you create your account, define your target market, and set an ad budget. I select 5 cents as my cost per click. I can select more if I want to, but I prefer entering the lowest allowable bid. Yahoo's lowest bid is 10 cents and Microsoft adCentre is 5 cents. So I prefer entering 5 cents.

There are some additional settings that target your customers based on the geographic location of your visitors. Not just that, but you can also specify on which date and at what time should your ads be displayed and visible 24x7 (there is an option for this)

Also you'll find that Microsoft adCentre makes your search advertising campaign easy to manage, with simple-to-use in-depth campaign analysis; intelligent targeting based on location, gender, or day; and access to up-to-the-minute research.

Yahoo! Search Engine PPC - You can set your monthly budget at whatever your business can afford. And you can adjust it at any time. You determine how much you want to pay for each click to your web site. When selecting a budget I usually start with a monthly budget of $50.And select the option that says, "Spend budget until depleted". This is because I want maximum exposure for my ads.

Based on my budget and CPC, I'm shown an estimated number of clicks my Ad will receive per month. I've found these estimates to be VERY low. They don't help much because the actual figures have proven to be much higher than the ones shown. I have only scratched the surface with both these PPC Advertising Service providers, and I highly recommend that you check them out. Apart from split testing your ads you can also test each one provider against the other to find who is you the most qualified traffic according to you niche
