Instant Buzz Performance

I have mixed emotions about Instant Buzz. You can get clicks on instant buzz but it typically is less than 1% CTR. You can get 40,000 bar ads which is the only good way to advertise with them for about $50. When it comes down to it, expect to pay on average .75 to $1 per click. I don't yet what conversion rate I am going to get for my efforts. I do click on the bar ads from time to time, but most, probably all ads are directed towards internet marketers. I haven't tried to advertise something outside of that realm. I can not stand their Senior Moderator. It seems that his method to blocking posts follows this idea. If the poster disagrees with me, I block his post. If the poster is argumentative, I block his post. If the poster doesn't agree with what I am saying I block his post. Basically their forum is more or less an advertising platform for their Sr. Moderator. I can't say that I would recommend IB to everyone. I still use it mainly because I want to get my money's worth out of the service. Their software is very, very, very buggy. It will not work with Vista at all. With XP it intermittently works. If you have a good anti virus or anti spyware program it could cause problems with the toolbar. It has a tendency to lock up your browser and/or computer. It is not a good service for someone with no downline. If you want to pay for advertising and you are advertising internet marketing, then I say go for it. Spend the $97 for the pro version. It will allow you to use color for your bar ads. The free version does not. They have terrible customer service so be prepared for that.

I may modify this post in the future with more information, but that is the jist of what you are getting with Instant Buzz. One thing to note... their sales copy has some singer on their talking how she was getting about 6% CTR on her ads. Don't believe that BS. One major flaw in their software is if you go to a site like hotmail or any decent site that loads a lot of content, then it will load a bar ad very, very briefly... that ad will disappear... and then the final ad will appear that a user may look at. The ad that disappears could be counted toward the impressions you pay for if you buy ads. I am not certain about that, but I am guessing that is probably what happens. Also if you see advertising for ListDotCom.com don't buy that either. It is basically sending out a Text based email that looks like it is from ListDotCom and not from you. It is another service similar to Instant Buzz but for email and works the same way minus the toolbar. I would have to say in conclusion if you can avoid anything by Mike Filsaime, I would avoid it. I just haven't been pleased with his products. I am not saying they are 100% terrible, but they are way overpriced. If you have any specific questions about his services feel free to PM your questions/concerns to me.

Hope this review is able to help people make a better decision about Instant Buzz.
