The main problem with AdWords is none buying traffic clicking your adds (sounds obvious) and the direct result is that you are spending more money than you are making.
I have some techniques for you here that will minimize this and put you on track for making your first profit or increasing that profit margin.
1 - Put each keyword phrase in its own adgroup and use the keyword in your ad. Not only will this increase you quality score but it will also enable you to track which keywords are making you a profit and enable you to drop the loser keywords.
2 - Use keyword tracking. This is something that 95% of affiliate marketers will not do but it is absolutely vital to having a successful AdWords campaign.
There are two ways to track your key words
- Give them a tracking ID when setting up your clickbank link and also track them with google AdWords. There are clear instructions how to do this on your AdWords account, but it basically generates a html code which a publisher can place on his site so you can track conversions through AdWords.
* Remember to use both of these methods as adwordscan be known to produce errors and leave you thinking that you have missed a sale.
3 - Another absolute must for your AdWords campaigns is Split Testing. Try Different ads. See which ones get a better CTR and ultimately which ones are making you the most money. Pay around with this one, I suggest at least three different ads per keyword.
4 - Now im going to give you some real gold with regards to making money with AdWords. If you find your ads aren't profitable, you must get more buyers clicking through!! How do you do this?? Oh your going to love this.
- First some thing simple add buy now to the end of your ad this makes people aware they are about to be sold something, if this still does not work add the price on and make sure its the exact price.
Remember making money online is not for the faint hearted, but it is possible. I currently have 7 AdWords campaigns running making me anywhere between $150 to $600 PROFIT a day! It really can be lucrative.
